S1 Mirror: Read the heading aloud slowly. Don't explain. Wait for their first reaction before pressing Continue. · S2 Scenario: Let them read in silence first. Ask "Is this what you had in mind?" then stop talking. The pause is the data. · S3A (Yes): These reveal what they imagine the product doing. Multi-select is fine. · S3B (No/Partly): Ask "What were you imagining?" after they check boxes. Don't suggest answers. · S4 Price: Show without comment. Let them react. Then ask "What would make that feel like an obvious yes?" · S5 Open: Genuinely the most important question. Don't fill the silence.
Legacy.io
You told us you want inheritance.
Before we show you anything, we want to make sure we've built
the right thing. This will take about 15 minutes.

A concrete scenario
James has $480,000 across a Coinbase account, two Ethereum wallets, and a Ledger hardware device. His wife Sarah is vaguely aware of the Coinbase account. She doesn't know the wallet addresses. She doesn't know the Ledger is in his desk drawer. She has no idea what his portfolio is worth right now.
If James died tonight, Sarah would spend months trying to piece it together. She would probably lose some of it permanently.
Here is what Legacy.io does and does not do
One dashboard for everything James owns. Every account, wallet, and asset. Read-only. We never move funds.
Legacy generates an info-bundle for Sarah. It covers which accounts exist, how to access them, a personal message, and any documents she will need.
If James goes silent for 60 days with no login and no response to check-in emails, Sarah receives everything he prepared. Every login resets the clock. She gets the map, not the money.
Information exchange, not fund transfers. James's assets stay where they are on Coinbase, in his wallets. Legacy.io makes sure Sarah knows where everything is, how to access it, and who to call.
We work alongside the legal process, not instead of it. Legacy.io connects James with estate attorneys and CPAs. Sarah walks into those conversations informed, not overwhelmed.
Is this what you had in mind when you said you wanted inheritance?
✅
Yes, exactly
This is the problem I was thinking about
🤔
Partly, but I expected more
Right direction, but I imagined something different
❌
No, I was thinking of something else
This isn't what I had in mind
Let's go deeper.
Answer all three — there are no wrong answers.
When you imagine your family dealing with your estate, what worries you most? *
They won't know what I own or where it is
They won't know how to access it: wallets, passwords, hardware
They'll lose money to legal fees, taxes, or estate admin delays
They'll be overwhelmed. They don't understand crypto at all.
Does your family know roughly what your crypto is worth right now? *
Yes, we talk about it regularly
Roughly. They know it exists but not the detail
Not really. I've never told them the actual numbers
No, they have no idea
What would need to be in the information bundle for it to feel complete? *
Just the account list and balances, a snapshot
Account list plus step-by-step access instructions per platform
Everything above plus a personal message from me to each person
All of that plus a connection to an estate attorney who handles the legal side
Something else. I'll describe it
Check anything that applies.
I expected the funds to transfer automatically to my family, not just information about where they are
I wanted something that works like a legal will: officially binding, goes through the legal estate process
I expected Legacy.io to hold my assets in some kind of vault or trust
I wanted it to handle the tax side: capital gains, inheritance tax, estate planning
I wanted my family to be able to access the accounts without any technical knowledge, handled end-to-end for them
I wanted an estate attorney or advisor involved: a professional who takes over, not a software product
Anything else you were imagining?
